For years, yoga had been a home practice. Feeling inner peace and strength, but lacking community. When I first entered that studio, hired to capture a hot yoga class, my perspective on what it was all about drastically shifted.

Shayla has such a depth and energy that is indescribable. She embodies leadership and community, her presence both calming and inspirational. She glows with a brilliant aura and anchors her classes to live in the moment… as their best and higher selves.

Her team of other instructors also shine. It’s all just a beautiful, tight knit group and community. Somehow bringing out the best in people as both individuals and that sense of togetherness. It’s that depth that each person that walks through the door is deeply seen and matters, right as they are.
